hope the valve cover gaskets aren’t leaking! Transverse V6’s are impossible to replace them on, and that half-aston motor probably doesn’t make things any better :(

It now leaks more oil than my 35 year old pickup. driveway is covered in oil spots after just one month of living here. Hell of an engine though.

Try running 5w-30 in it. Slowed mine right down. IIRC my cam covers are still leaking....So I have that issue...Still try 5w30 instead.

Thanks! Hmm yeah I’ve been using the 5w20 as recommended this whole time. I def try the 5w30 this weekend when I change her oil. 217k miles... Tell me more about your Sable!

Just replace the gasket yourself! It’s easy. Just drop the transmission, remove 18 bolts, drop it down, remove old gasket, install new one, throw it all back together... LOL

Its got a body color grill, Mach Audio, 3rd cat delete, magnaflow muffler, smoked sidemarker, 2004 sable taillights. 5000k HIDs, front switchback LEDs, Phillips LED taillights, LED rear amber, LED Dash, Full LED interior. There’s probably more but this what I can think of at this time.

Well, if it’s any consolation, after my wife and I got married, I changed the oil in her CR-X. Car had 35,000 miles on it, she had owned it for 4 years, and it was the first time it had ever had it’s oil changed.
